Hassle-free visa processing for your travel needs.
Overview
A Business Visa for Denmark allows individuals to visit the country for short-term professional engagements, meetings, and business-related activities for up to 90 days. This visa is strictly for business purposes and does not permit employment or paid work in Denmark.
Important:
- Denmark must be your primary destination when applying for this visa.
- If you enter another Schengen country before Denmark, or use a single-entry visa to travel elsewhere in Schengen without first visiting Denmark, your visa may be revoked, and future Schengen visa applications may be impacted.
Eligibility
A Business Visa may be granted if the applicant:
- Has a confirmed business purpose in Denmark.
- Intends to leave Denmark and the Schengen area before the visa expires.
- Can demonstrate a legitimate commercial relationship between their company and the Danish host organization.
- Meets all financial and accommodation requirements.
- Has a clean immigration history, including previous Schengen visa compliance.
Who does not need a visa?
- Holders of valid residence permits from another Schengen country.
- Family members of EU/EEA or Swiss citizens under free movement regulations.
- Certain Turkish citizens performing specific services in Denmark.
Work Permit Restrictions:
- If the applicant will receive payment in Denmark or engage in work beyond standard business meetings, a work permit is required instead of a business visa.
- Short-term work-related activities under 90 days may be permitted without a work permit under specific conditions.
Processing Time
- Standard processing times apply, but applicants are advised to apply well in advance.
- If an application is submitted less than 15 calendar days before travel, the embassy may reject the application as inadmissible and return the documents without processing.
